2nd Annual Cornhole Tournament
Get your bean bag tossing muscles warmed up!
RCC’s 2nd Annual Cornhole Tournament is happening on October 19th! We would like to request your participation and support of The Church In The Village.
We are actively seeking Sponsors & Players for our 2nd RCC Cornhole Tournament being held October 19th, from noon to 5pm at The Hillside Country Club in Rehoboth. Please help RCC raise funds by participating in this family friendly event and thus ensuring we continue our mission to build community in God’s love and serve as the Body of Christ within and beyond our congregation through worship, education, outreach, and community support.
If you were to ask our members what they love most about RCC, the overwhelming response would be our community. We love working with local organizations where we know we can make a real and tangible difference. We regularly host drives and meals, as well as fundraisers that allow us to make monetary donations to local individuals and organizations in need. There is always something going on at RCC! We believe church should be fun! We love hosting events that bring people together, everything from our annual church bazaar to our many suppers and food festivals, to our special worship services, to blessings, to bible studies, and more. There really is something for everyone in our church community!
Please consider participating in our Cornhole Tournament by becoming a Sponsor. A list of sponsorship information as well as paticipant registration is below!
Thank you for your support of The Rehoboth Congregational church “The Church In The Village”

Hosted by The Hillside Country Club, the 2nd Annual RCC Cornhole Tournament brings together cornhole enthusiasts to participate in a fun, family friendly event. Event patrons come from the surrounding communities to enjoy the beautiful autumn landscape and some friendly competition. The famous Hillside Tiki Bar will be open, and participants (and spectators) are invited to partake in their delicious menu and drink offerings before, during and after the tournament.
The tournament will be run by the experts at Wicked Cornhole Events. Wicked Cornhole Events are powered by SCOREHOLIO. This is an app-based software that allows them to run a smooth tournament. Players will have the opportunity to download the SCOREHOLIO app to follow the action from their own device. This includes a feature that will send the player a notification letting them know when they are scheduled to play. Each cornhole lane includes a scorekeeper tablet. This will allow players to track the score during each match and then submit the results of a match at its conclusion.
Throughout the event, a dashboard will be displayed on a large screen to show the current matches being played as well as the standings. Players will know where they stand and when they are scheduled to play. With their state-of-the-art audio equipment, they also announce each games, keeping it lively and fun!

RCC Choir perform their cantata, “Come Touch The Robe”
Unique in concept, soaring in spirit, and with music, text, and narration by Pepper Choplin, “Come Touch The Robe” allows us to encounter the Christ of healing, glory, authority, humility, and victory. This work uses the simple garment that Jesus wore as a thematic device to recount the interaction of those who were with him during his last days on Earth.
